Sony is kicking June off with the first event of the season next week as a new State of Play has been announced. The show will air on June 2 at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET.
Now before you go and get your hopes far higher than they need to be, Sony says this event will focus on third-party partners, plus a look at several in-development games for PlayStation VR 2.

It is worth mentioning that Sony has no mention of first-party games being revealed. I would wager this has something to do with Sony diverting those reveals to the PlayStation Showcase. an event that last happened back in September.
Next week’s State of Play will consist of roughly 30 minutes of updates and announcements so be sure to grab a drink and stretch.
In June and not long after the State of Play event, Summer Games Fest kicks off on June 9, and the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase event is on June 12.
