Sony has revealed a PlayStation Showcase is happening next week, May 24. The event will focus on “PS5 and PS VR2 games in development from top studios from around the world. ”

Regarding what to expect, we do know Mortal Kombat’s potential reboot will be there. Series creator Ed Boon has teased that a new trailer is arriving tomorrow so this would tie in perfectly with the PlayStation Showcase timing.
I’m also wagering we’re likely to see more of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, a follow-up to Insomniac’s open-world Spider-Man series which will add Venom to the fray and give us playable Miles Morales and Peter Parker and is scheduled to lanch Fall 2023.
I’m eager to see what the various PlayStation Studios are cooking up given that outside of Insomniac, we have no idea what they are working on.
