Last week, Sony dropped its monthly games for all PlayStation Plus members, and now it’s time to get a look at what new games are coming to the catalogue this busy month for both PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members, as announced on the PlayStation Blog, which kicks off on October 17th.
The first notable PlayStation Plus addition is last year’s DC superhero game, Gotham Knights, for PS5 members. For PS4 owners, that is the only PS5 game dropping, as the rest are playable on PS4 alongside PS5 native versions as well. A lot of the other additions are in tune with the spooky season, including Alien: Isolation, Dead Island Definitive Edition, Outlast 2, and The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes. While not a spooky season game, the addition of Disco Elysium – The Final Cut this month is very welcome, and it’s a very excellent game if you have the time this month; I really got to go back to it.
