As mid-November approaches, so does the preview of this month’s Black Friday deals as PlayStation, in a blog post, has announced what deals it has in store for the PlayStation nation this holiday season, which ranges from deals on console bundles, PlayStation Gear, PlayStation Store games, and a significant discount on upgrades for 12-month PlayStation Plus subscriptions.
Starting off, PlayStation Direct will host a bevy of Black Friday deals like PS5 console bundles that come with a game, including the Xbox-owned Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and more. Other PlayStation Direct deals include discounts on DualSense wireless controllers, console covers for the original PS5 design, and deals on select PC, PS4, and PS5 titles. Additionally, PlayStation’s other retail partners will feature deals during the seasonal PlayStation promotion.
For those who have been looking for a deal on PlayStation Plus following its eye-brow-raising price hike earlier this summer, Sony is giving players a chance to save on a 12-month subscription when upgrading to a higher tier from November 17th through the 27th. Those at the Essential tier can save 25 percent when upgrading to PlayStation Plus Extra, while those at Extra can save 30 percent when upgrading to PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe. Those who upgrade to the latter tier won’t just get a huge collection of games, but also access to over 100 movies in the tier’s recently added Sony Pictures Catalog benefit.
Additionally, Sony will have up to 20 percent off on its online merchandise and apparel store, PlayStation Gear. For those who are planning to make a big PlayStation Gear purchase this Black Friday, well, you can get free shipping on orders that are $75 or more from November 24th through the 27th. As for digital PS4 and PS5 games, as always, PlayStation is set to have a huge Black Friday sale on the PlayStation Store, including big discounts on EA Sports FC 24, NBA 2K24, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and more.
