Playism

Here’s What Playism Has At Tokyo Game Show 2026

The Tokyo Game Show turns the big three-zero (30). As Japan‘s oldest indie game publisher, Playism knows how to celebrate the years that have passed. So, they’ve decided to throw a big bash and bring 10 games to the show floor, including two games making their trade show debut and two more with release dates now.

The new titles that you’ll be able to play at the company’s booth are:

Sea Sniffers

Got a thing for punchy, pixilated art…and seals that punch fish?

Blastmode and MP2 Games are porud to present a game where you play as an adorable seal, exploring sunken ships, uncover hidden caves and meet the ocean’s eccentric inhabitants, whose mischievous stories range from silly escapades to chaotic adventures. Quirky quests weave together a blend of RPG-progression and offbeat storytelling!

Don’t worry…they probably won’t punch you.

Sea Sniffers is expected to start swimming next year.

Full Belly Breakout

I’m pretty sure we’ve all been told at some stage of our life not to play with our food…but what if you’re trapped in an unusual game where the food in front of you hides a deadly secret? And playing with it is the only way yo ensure that you live to eat another day.

Navigate the hidden dangers lurking within a wide variety of dishes, savor every bite, fill your stomach and escape from a terrifying cell.

Experience an overwhelming dining experience where eyeballs crawl out of plain rice, sharks burst from soup and entire universes unfold upon your plate.

Full Belly Breakout is reserving a strange table for next year.

As mentioned, Playism has two games that have appeared before, but now have release windows. These are: Million Depth from Cyber Space Biotope, is coming to the Nintendo Switch on December 3, 2026. And Devil Connection, which will be coming to Switch, iOS, and Android on January 21, 2027.

For those lucky enough to hit the show floor, the Playism booth will be in the General Exhibition Area at 07-C06 at Tokyo Game Show. Additionally, two titles will be exhibited in the Indie Game Areas: Full Belly Breakout at 09-E106 and Homura Hime at 09-E65.
