Early campaign access for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is now live as the game is just days away from its full release.
Anyone who has preordered the game can bust open the new story missions a full week early. The story will include a number of new approaches to the franchise with what the developers are calling Open Combat Missions. “Dispersed throughout the Campaign to create a seamless, intertwined experience with the more traditional missions.”
If you’ve digitally preordered Modern Warfare 3 then as of 1PM EST you’ll be good to go with the main campaign:
- November 2nd, 10 AM PT, 1PM EST all platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, Battle.net, Steam)
There are also a number of bonuses for starting and completing the campaign, with rewards that will beef up multiplayer loadout. Here are just a few:
- 30 mins Double Player XP Token & 30 mins Double Weapon XP Token
- “Corso” Operator
- “Ghillie Guy” Calling Card
- “Doc” Operator
- “Skull Rhapsody” Calling Card
- 1 hour Double Player XP Token and 1 hour Double Weapon XP Token
As for multiplayer and zombies, those will go live on November 9th.
Multiplayer will have the modernized Modern Warfare maps from 2009. Afghan, Favela, Estate, Core, Invasion, Rundown, and more; will all be there at launch.
3v3v3, 6v6, Domination, Ground War, Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, and several more are ready to go in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Online modes will also feature 25 additional operators. This brings the total pool of unlockable and purchasable characters to 90 across Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3.
