Just last month, Jim Ryan spoke on the PlayStation Blog about the Play at Home initiative which began in 2020 and has started again in 2021, to offer free games to everyone stuck at home during the pandemic. The first game revealed to be free was the excellent Ratchet & Clank reboot from 2016, and we were promised more games across several months to make the stay-at-home rules be less dreary.
Today, Jim is back on the PlayStation Blog to offer a look at the next ten games that will be made available for free. Starting on March 25, 2021, PlayStation and some of its indie partners are offering free games to stay safe at home.
The list of games you’ll be able to play includes Abzû, Enter the Gungeon, Rez Infinite, Subnautica, The Witness, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Moss, Thumper, and Paper Beast.
This selection of PS4 games and PS VR games will be available for free download from March 25 11:0PM ET to April 22, 11:00 PM ET.
Then, in case you had forgotten, Sony is working on offering an extended trial of Funimation (or Wakanim, depending on your region) which is a joint venture of Sony Pictures Entertainment and Aniplex of Japan. This extended trial offer kicks off on March 25 and is available through April 22.
