Publisher Raw Fury and developer Cosy Computer have announced in a new trailer that its arcade-style food stealing game, Pizza Possum, will launch on PC and consoles on September 28th.
The game has all the energy of that infamous footage of a rat stealing a giant slice of pizza on the subway and seeing the game’s titular food-loving Possum causing chaos as they go around town eating any food that comes their way without getting caught by the town’s guard dogs and other enemies. Throughout your run, you can also chase your pig and goose neighbours – causing them to drop food and adding more to your overall score.
Players in their Possum avatar will use items and hide in bushes as they go through the level while approaching the ultimate goal of eating a massive pizza at the end fit for a king while stealing the crown from the top of the town’s dog leader. The arcade energy of Pizza Possum can be played in single-player action as you try to beat your score or with a raccoon friend as you both cause double the chaos in local co-op.
Pizza Possum is set to launch exactly one month on September 28 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.
