Kicking off today’s Nintendo Direct presentation is the latest Pikmin 4 trailer which revealed at the very end that the game is launching for Nintendo Switch users on July 21st.
Pikmin 4 is the fourth major entry in the series that we got a look at last year and has been in the works since 2015. While this isn’t the first Pikmin game that Nintendo Switch users can play natively on the hybrid console with Pikmin 3 Deluxe, a port of the Wii U original game currently playable on the system, Pikmin 4. Fans of the series can chart their way to a mysterious planet with curious plantlike Pikmin that are set to come in different types in Pikmin 4 which include the brand-new Ice Pikmin and your capable canine, Oatchi who will help you tackle big challenges when Pikmin 4 launches on Nintendo this July.
