All in! Games and their own developer team Ironbird Creations, have shown their latest game Phantom Hellcat as part of Gamescom’s Opening Night Live.
The 2D/3d plains-wapping slasher tells the story of Jolene — the sword-wielding last line of defence against an ancient evil released from a cursed theatre. In you’ve ever played Nier, then you will find the viewpoint shifts familiar as it is used to push the narrative forward.
Levels take place in the form of plays that take influence from pop culture and require Jolene to set things straight.
All in! offers up that Nier inspires the game, and I can definitely see why. But there looks like so much here that Phantom Hellcat has to add!
