We’re all about to be a little starstruck! Persona5: The Phantom X “Version 3.6” update is out today, and it brings with it Phantom Thief and Detective Prince Goro Akechi from Persona 5 Royal.
5★ Phantom Thief Goro Akechi can be obtained through the Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contract, which grants higher drop rates for certain Phantom Thieves.
Help the Detective Prince help your team get even better by netting him the exclusive 5★ weapon, Silent Pistol, from the Arms Deals.
As an “Almighty Sweeper,” Akechi deals massive Almighty damage. He excels when paired with powerful attacker allies, as he can use Bless attribute attacks to buff ally damage, and Curse attribute attacks to nerf enemy defence. Additionally, Akechi’s Flames of Desire supports all attributes and can activate up to three different Flames of Desire effects depending on the party composition, increasing his damage output accordingly. As a main attacker, he synergizes well with other Sweepers, boosting the overall damage of the party while unleashing powerful Almighty attacks.
As has always been the case, Akechi also gets a special story event, though it isn’t entirely his own, as it picks up as “Crossroads of Fate: Laboratory Arc Part 2.”
From now through April 30, Goro Akechi and the Phantom Thieves from P5X team up with the Phantom Thieves of Hearts from P5R. Explore a brand-new Palace and take on new boss battles to earn rewards such as Gold Tickets, Platinum Milicoins, Unusual Rebel Coins, 8-Sided Dice, and other rewards by clearing stages. Rewards such as Meta Jewels and Loaded Dice will be granted after completing missions.
Additionally, players who finish the special event will be rewarded by finding out what Joker, Kasumi, and Akechi were thinking about during that dramatic moment shared among them in Persona 5 Royal!
As with the last update, Jose’s Dicey Adventure continues! Use the 8-Sided Dice and Loaded Dice you collect playing “Crossroads of Fate: Laboratory Arc Part 2” to explore Mementos and gain rewards as they progress. Defeat the bosses of the routes, progress further, and collect Flowers during exploration to exchange for Gold Tickets, Kagura Bells, and other rewards.
In “Boss Battle” mode, “Recollections of Fate,” you can take on powerful bosses based on the Distortion Level to collect Loaded Dice and Joy Medals, which can be exchanged for Wonder’s exclusive weapon and other rewards.
Deal deadly blows to the bosses and unlock “Stamina Mode,” where you can use stamina to take on stages and bosses again for Unusual Rebel Coins and other rewards by defeating the boss.
Concluding this story arc, Manaka Nagao is back for us to explore what happens to her after her shocking encounter with Wonder, offering deeper insight into her life. Those who choose to play the side mission of her grandmother, Chizuko Nagao, will get an even deeper experience to close off this story!
As always, everyone is rewarded for logging in during this new update. During the event period, players can log in for seven days to receive a total of seven Platinum Milicoins, which can be used for Arms Deals. In addition, a total of 600 Meta Jewels will be sent to players, including 300 Meta Jewels.
