In our review for Persona 3 Reload on Switch 2, we said, “At this rate, as much as I love Persona 3 Reload, it pains me to say that this isn’t the way you should experience it. If you have a Steam Deck, you can get a better experience with minor tweaks or on consoles where it’s at its best. However, there’s still a lot to love about P3 Reload, like the brilliant cast, which was recast for the remake, and the updated score, which features tons of bangers.

I genuinely believe Atlus has a home on the Switch 2, but it needs to take that approach seriously and do the work to ensure it doesn’t launch half-ready ports like Persona 3 Reload. I’m willing to support the company, but it needs to ensure it’s not just there for the sake of making a quick buck.”
