Atlus returns with a new Persona 3 Reload trailer focusing on school life, combat, social stats, and more!
The video above features Michelle Ruff, the original voice of Yukari Takeba, explaining why Persona 3 is so beloved and why this game is special to many fans. We also meet the new voices of Makoto, Yukari, Junpei; Aleks Le, Heather Gonzalez and Zeno Robinson.
Additionally, Atlus included new details regarding Persona 3 Reload, including the updated S.E.E.S. combat uniform.
The protagonist uses a one-handed sword in battle and summons Orpheus. Additionally, he can summon several Personas as a Wild Card, whereas usually, a person can only summon one Persona.
Social Stats also play a critical role in succeeding and will help you in your day-to-day life. As you go through school, after school, and about town, you will be challenged in three Social Stats: Courage, Charm, and Academics. Through studying or taking on part-time jobs, you can grow these stats and need to level them up to develop Social Links.
Dorm life at Gekkoukan High includes the student dormitory used by the S.E.E.S team. Here, you’ll cook, study for tests, read, and watch movies. There’s even a garden on the roof you can attend to! These activities raise your Social Stats and help grow the team’s closeness in battle using Combat characteristics.
Using the Public Computer at the dorm, you can study with software or gather intel. In addition to raising Social Stats, you may also learn valuable skills for combat and exploration.
Spending time with characters in the dorm will increase the likelihood of your team gaining Characteristics like increased critical attack rate, reduced cost for helping skills, and more.
You’ll also meet several students at Gekkoukan High. Through Social Links, you’ll bond with students and raise ranks that feature memorable scenes with each student. You can hang out with students after school, and they will help increase your bonds with your Persona. Social Link characters have received all-new portrait illustrations for the remake, and their scenes are now entirely voice-acted.
Persona 3 Reload launches for Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on February 2, 2024.
