Palworld Early Access Crosses 12 Million Steam Players, 7 Million Xbox Players

Pocket Pair has revealed Palworld has now crossed 12 million players on Steam and seven million on Xbox.

The sales on Steam have skyrocketed with over eight million units sold in under six days. Within the following days, the numbers continued to impress with seven million units sold in five days, six million units sold in four days, five million units sold in three days, and four million units sold in about three days. Furthermore, two million units were sold in the first 24 hours, while the first eight hours of the sale alone saw one million units sold.

“The response from fans has been tremendous and it’s incredible to see the millions of players around the world enjoying Palworld,” said Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe in a statement on Xbox Wire. “This is just the beginning for us and Palworld, and the feedback we’re gathering while in Game Preview will allow us to continue to improve the experience for Pal Tamers across all platforms.”

Palworld has the biggest third-party Game Pass launch ever, with more than seven million players on Xbox.

Pocketpair will continue to work on Palworld which is currently in the Xbox Game Preview program. Xbox will help out by enabling dedicated servers, offering engineering resources to help with GPU and memory optimization, and speeding up the process to make Palworld updates available for players.
