The recently announced Onimusha: Way of the Sword dropped a new trailer at February’s State of Play. The new entry in the beloved franchise will star Miyamoto Musashi, a legendary Japanese figure, as he dons an Oni Gauntlet to battle demonic forces. Taking place in a corrupted Kyoto, the forces of Hell spill out, Musashi gets supernatural abilities to help with the fight.
The trailer showcased plenty of gameplay, as Musashi cuts through enemies, lights them on fire, uses tables as cover, and more.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword launches in 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
