Astrolabe Games will handle published duties for Omega Phenex Commence Project Six, the upcoming high-speed 3D mecha title.
The game is in development using Unreal Engine 5 over eight years. The publisher says its working with the developer and respects the community around Omega Phenex Commence Project Six.
You play as Icarus, a highly maneuverable mecha built for high-speed combat across sea and sky. You can skim over the ocean surface, soar above the clouds, and also face massive enemy forces and powerful rivals “defined by overwhelming speed, mobility, and barrages of missiles.”
The developer says the game is designed to feel tactile with action at high-speeds while remaining approachable for players. You can turn unrestricted a use a boost gauge which supports frequent high-speed movement. You can even dive into aerial combat and understand enemy fire to be readable.
Omega Phenex Commence Project Six includes auto-lock missile barrages and rapid-fire shooting to powerful melee attacks and pure firepower at close-range, you have access to an arsenal to experiment with different loadouts.
There’s also extensive customization affecting appearance and performance. You can change parts, paint, and fine-tune your mech to fit your combat style. Omega Phenex Commence Project Six includes a Tune System, allowing players to allocate limited amount of output towards durability, mobility, and weapon performance.
The game includes more than 30 missions across a variety of objectives, including extermination, exploration, boss battles, and escort missions. You can even enter the Arena Mode to tackle enemies in one-on-one battles.
