Toronto’s own Drinkbox Studios teased the release date for Nobody Saves the World was close right before the holidays and today we found how close.
On January 18, the game from Guacamelee! developer Drinkbox Studios will arrive on Xbox consoles via Game Pass and on PC via Steam. Nobody Saves the World will come with crossplay and features a co-op feature for both Xbox and PC platforms but only on the same platform.
Nobody Saves the World puts players into the role of Nobody, a formless being able to pick up new news (or forms) like a slug, a ghost, a dragon, a rat and more. There are over 80 form abilities used to create customized builds —it reminds me of Final Fantasy’s job system on steroids and I am 100 percent here for that.
And Jim Guthrie returns to score the soundtrack. I would advise you to check out Jim’s work on Below and Sword and Sworcery.
