No Rest for the Wicked

No Rest for the Wicked Hits Early Access

And now for something completely different...

The next project from the talented team at Moon Studios that brought us Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps is something completely different.

No Rest for the Wicked is not a side scrolling action-platformer, it’s a top-down action RPG with the feel of a souls-like game like Dark Souls. But it’s not just that description that the developers are touting; they also say this will be an ARPG with a “bold new take on the genre.”

Playing a game this early in its life cycle may not be for everyone, but the devs have already been on top of bug reports and issues raised by the community. Early on it seems like they’re keeping their word on being communicative and transparent during the Early Access period.

What exactly the new ARPG take is in No Rest for the Wicked remains to be seen. I’m excited to see how deep it will go and how it will feel. But that will be determined with some hands-on time that we’ll cover here at Console Creatures in the future.

The game is now in Early Access on Steam and can be played on Nvidia’s GeForce Now.
