“No Plans” For Assassin’s Creed Origins On Switch

Upcoming Assassin’s Creed Origins is confirmed for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4, that much we know. Origins game director Ashraf Ismail, in an interview with Gaming Bolt, stated that this year’s Assassin’s Creed will not be coming to Nintendo Switch

The series has been missing since 2014’s Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, with only that title and Assassin’s Creed 3 being the only Ubisoft ports available to Nintendo users. With the resurgence in Nintendo’s platform popularity, many fans, myself included, had a sliver of hope in seeing the newest game release on the Nintendo Switch.

“We’re shipping on Xbox One, Xbox One X, PS4, PS4 Pro, and PC,” he continued, “there are no plans to release it on Switch.”

Assassin’s Creed Origins launches on October 27.
