The alpha for Nioh 2 left me eager to get the full game in my hands after leaving me impressed with the changes made in the sequel. With months of silence and one accidental video upload from PlayStation earlier today, now we know when the sequel to Nioh arrives: early 2020.
With the Tokyo Game Show trailer, Koei Tecmo revealed an early 2020 date, which sees Team Ninja return to the world of Yokai and samurai warriors. We get a good glimpse of gameplay, characters, and some of the yokai we will face in Nioh 2. Also, revealed last month, the protagonist is able to transform into a yokai as a new mechanic, where we are shifted into their world, and face off against even stronger bosses.
