With the base game now finished, the team will likely now work towards squashing bugs and touching up the graphics to hit their target date of March 13, 2020. I expect a day one patch to hit that finalizes their plans and offers the best experience.
The original Nioh was a fine return to form for the studio and proved that Team Ninja was on the path to redemption. I adored exploring the Sengoku era of Japan while doing my best to avoid being slaughtered.
Nioh 2 launches March 13, 2020 on PlayStation 4.
