Revealed via Nintendo Today, Nintendo will host two Directs next week, with one focusing on The Legend of Zelda‘s 40th Anniversary while the other being a main Direct.
The Zelda-focused Direct will begin on Tuesday, September 8, at 7 AM PDT/10 AM EDT and will last 30 minutes. I’m sure we’ll see updates on the series in general, plus we’ll likely get our first look at The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake, which was revealed this past June during the not-E3 whirlwind.
Then, on the following day, a Nintendo Direct will air beginning at 7 AM PDT/10 AM EDT and is expected to last around 45 minutes, with a Nintendo Treehouse episode to follow.
“Join us after Nintendo Direct 9.9.2026 to watch Nintendo Treehouse: Live | September 2026, featuring gameplay of select titles featured from the Nintendo Direct. The livestream will last roughly 110 minutes,” the YouTube description says.
The June Nintendo Direct included Rhythm Heaven Groove, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Orbitals,One Piece: Grand Gourmet, Muramasa: Revenant Blades, Xenoblade Genesis, and much more. Hopefully we’ll see more reveals, along with updates on some of the games shown earlier this year.
