Jet Force Gemini

Nintendo Switch Online Adding Jet Force Gemini This December

The Nintendo 64 Expansion Pack Get's Another Rare Game

Nintendo announced on social media that Jet Force Gemini will be released on Nintendo Switch Online via the Nintendo 64 Expansion Month sometime next month; no exact release date was specified. The announcement came after the game’s addition to the subscription service in Japan, which is scheduled to launch on November 30th alongside GoldenEye 007.

Jet Force Gemini is a third-person shooter released for the Nintendo 64 in 199 and was originally developed by Rare. It’s been quite a while since the Rare title was playable on a Nintendo system, but that’s not to say the game hasn’t been available on more modern platforms as Jet Force Gemini was released in 2015 for the Xbox One as a part of the Rare Replay compilation.

Players who plan to pick up Jet Force Gemini for the first time or revisit, which resolves around a galactic law enforcement team composed of siblings Juno and Vela alongside their war dog mascot Lupus as they try to take a drone army led by the game’s insectoid antagonist, Mizar. In addition to the single-player campaign, the Nintnedo 64 title also featured local multiplayer with a deathmatch mode playable with two to four players.
