In Oracle of Ages, Link is led by the Triforce to the land of Labrynna. There, he encounters Impa, who is under attack. After rescuing her, Link learns about the evil sorceress Veran, who aims to manipulate history and seize control of Labrynna’s past. He acquires the Harp of Ages, an artifact capable of time travel, and sets out to thwart Veran’s nefarious plans. Along his journey, Link must navigate through time, solving past and present puzzles to progress.
In Oracle of Seasons, Link is called to the land of Holodrum by the Triforce. There, he encounters the Oracle of Seasons, Din, who holds the power to control the seasons. However, Onox, the General of Darkness, kidnaps Din and disrupts the balance of the seasons. As a result, Holodrum plunges into chaos, with erratic weather and natural disasters endangering its inhabitants.
You can play the two games separately and in any order you choose, but you can link the two games together via a password system for the whole experience. Characters are found in both games and even mention events from the other game. Additionally, you can move some of your inventory between games, like the rings, and items can be upgraded.
