The Nintendo Switch has gotten another firmware upgrade, with things like being able to capture video for select games now being an option. There’s also the ability to transfer profiles and save data to another system, and lastly, the ability to pre-purchase certain titles on the Nintendo eShop.
We knew the Switch was capable of these things, Nintendo confirmed it was working on it, but we didn’t know when, however, that feature is now available.
There is one final thing that came with this update, you can now select Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey profile pictures.
Small steps in the right direction I suppose, I just hope Nintendo understands the needs of a gamer in a digital age where things are all backed up to the cloud and accessible from almost anywhere. Why has Nintendo shied away from such things?
