Nintendo is hosting an in-person event later this year in Seattle with Nintendo Live 2023 Seattle.
The event has been previously held in Japan and allows fans from around the world to gather in one place and celebrate Nintendo franchises. A press release for the event says there will be gameplay as well as live stage performances, tournaments, photo ops and more.
“Fans of all ages can currently experience the unique games, characters and worlds of Nintendo on Nintendo Switch, but we want to expand that scope with a new experience,” said Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser. “With Nintendo Live 2023, we’re giving attendees a chance to celebrate together with family, friends and the broader Nintendo community in the spirit of fun and creating long-lasting memories.
Right now there is no information regarding dates or how to purchase tickets but the official website is where you can check if those are updated and added. For now, there’s a lot to look forward to with the recent success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie and the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
