Nintendo Is Shuttering Miitomo

Mii no want to go

Miitomo was a short-lived but entertaining way to interact with others.

Less than two years after debuting on mobile devices, Nintendo has decided to end Miitomo, a social networking app that was once hugely popular but faltered shortly after. Upon release, Miitomo was wildly popular all over the world, with Japan alone seeing 1 million users in its first week, and another 2 million when the worldwide launch hit.

Coins for the app are no longer purchasable and the service will shutter on May 9. Miitomo still has things to do, however, so be sure to check out the daily log-in bonus that is available, as you can gain 2000 coins and five game tickets to use.
