Taking place today during Square Enix’s Tokyo Game Show presentation, we learned that NieR Replicant will launch in April 2021.
If you’re wondering why an old game is taking forever to release; this is considered an extension of the original NieR. In fact, it’s more than just a remaster. The game’s full name is NieR Replicant Ver. 1.22474487139 and includes expanded locaitons, updated visuals, and is considered to be a “modern retelling of NieR Replicant.”
Producer Yousuke Sato mentioned that there will be fully-voiced dialogue, rearranged music, new scenarios and more.
NieR Replicant launches in the West on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 23, 2021.
