Mobile Title NieR Re[in]carnation Will Shut Down At The End of April After Almost Three Years of Service

NieR Re[in]carnation‘s publisher Square Enix and its developer. Applibot has announced the free-to-play mobile game will end its service on April 30th at 1 a.m. ET. When that time comes, the shutdown date will be just a couple of months off from the mobile title’s worldwide release, three years since the title first debuted.

NieR Re[in]carnation To Close This Year

The mobile game’s story will finish with its finale update titled “The People and the World Final Chapter,” which is scheduled to drop on March 28th, just a bit over a month before we say goodbye to the game the following month. NieR Re[in]carnation first launched on iOS and Android’s app store on February 18th, 2021, with a worldwide release coming later on July 28th, 2021.

“We regret to inform you that NieR Re[in]carnation will be ending service with the conclusion of The People and the World. Until the end of service, we will continue to add content and characters and hold various events and campaigns, so we hope you will continue to enjoy NieR Re[in]carnation until the end,” Square Enix said in a statement.

At least NieR Re[in]carnation is still available to play for the next three months.
