You read that right. NieR: Automata will be released on the same day for both the PlayStation 4 and PC.
Speaking with PC Gamer, Square Enix told the publisher that the PC version of NieR: Automata will release on March 7 – the same day the game sees release on PlayStation 4.
This is a first for the series and a good sign that there is life on PC. NieR’s been absent at this point for six years, and by releasing the game on PC the same day as consoles is good practice on the developers part. This proves there is faith in the PC market and benefits everyone. Hopefully, the game has minimal issues at launch. We’ll see when the game releases on March 7, 2017
