If you were excited to return to the Ni no Kuni series like I have been, I’ve got some bad news for you. Today, Bandai Namco has announced that Ni no Kuni II: The Revenant Kingdom has been pushed back. The sequel to 2011’s hit JRPG series needs a few more months to polish the experience.
In addition, Akihiro Hino, CEO of Level-5 and the director on Ni no Kuni II, wanted to clarify his remarks on multiplayer, which was a misunderstanding as he misheard the question. The final product will not feature any multiplayer component.
Ni no Kuni II has been postponed until Jan. 19, 2018. Watch this video from the President of LEVEL-5 Inc. for details on the delay and more. pic.twitter.com/E5jHoxTzer
