While Ni no Kuni II has come and gone, there is still an entire season pass of content coming for those who are hungry for more.
The first piece of downloadable content is coming August 9 and it is free for everyone. Adventure Pack 1 will provide a new challenge for players that add additional floors to Faraway Forest Cave, two new bosses; Blackheart and Zeta, and new quests for you to complete. with new costumes to unlock.
From there, the next piece of content will arrive in the winter in the form of a new dungeon for players to discover. Enemies will get stronger the further Even and his party goes, but the further in you go, the better the rewards.
In early 2019, Bandi Namco will release an additional story expansion for Ni no Kuni II.
I enjoyed my time with the sequel to Ni no Kuni but felt that it lacked spirit and what made the original game an exciting game. I enjoyed the revamped battle system, but there were too many fetch quests and much filler content.
