Next Lev'Elles

Gameloft Montreal, Square Enix Montréal and Ludia Games Team up to Promote Female Leadership in Tech

Three of Montreal’s top games studios (Gameloft, Square Enix and Ludia Games) are set to partner this Friday, April 1 at 11 AM ET for Next Lev’Elles 3 — a celebration of women in the city’s tech industry and the path they’ve paved for the next generation to take the long road forward.

The event, which was originally set to coincide with International Women’s Day on March 8th, will open with a keynote from all-around busybody Bibigi Haile, who will speak of dealing with impostor syndrome in the modern workplace.

It will be followed by a panel featuring Catherine Boudreault, Localization Coordinator at Gameloft Montreal; Jenn Cadieux, Customer Service Manager at Square Enix Montreal and Juanita Cepero, Chief Narrative Designer at Ludia Games — as moderated by Amanda Farough.

Topics on the menu for discussion are:

  • The path to leadership for women in tech
  • The impact of women leaders on organizations
  • How to stake your claim as a woman leader
  • The impact of diversity on change and innovation
  • The strength of soft skills
  • The importance of mentorship

This is a virtual event that is open to all. And while it is free to attend, the organizers are asking participants to consider making a donation to Centraide of Greater Montreal, an organization in the Greater Montreal area that meets and supports women in their own neighbourhoods to help women regain control of their life through a number of support services and personalized advice and guidance.
