Nintendo has once again announced a delay for the newest Legend of Zelda game, which had an original release date of 2015, into next year. The game is now set for release at some time in 2017 for both the Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo NX.
In a release financial report, Nintendo puts the release for the game firmly into next year’s schedule for their business model and will release worldwide during this time period.
The situation is similar to that of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, have a simultaneous release for both the Nintendo GameCube and the Nintendo Wii back in 2006, allowing more of the player base to be able to consume the newest Zelda title.
This delay is to provide better “quality” to the finished product.
