Today Lab Zero released the trailer for Skullgirls 2nd Encore. The story follows eight warriors fighting to claim a wish-granting artifact called the “Skull Heart.” The Skull Heart grants the holder a wish, but if the holder is of an impure heart, they will be turned into a Skullgirl. Fans of Skullgirls will be happy to know that their favourite characters will return and include new stages, balance adjustments and new music. If you haven’t played Skullgirls for the last gen, you sure are missing out. If you are a fan of the Marvel vs. Capcom series, then you will like Skullgirls as the influence from Marvel vs. Capcom is apparent, and the game’s challenge will keep you testing your skills. Skullgirls Encore is available today for PlayStation 4.
