We here in Toronto are just beginning to forget about those 30-plus degree days we had a couple of weeks ago, but if you want to hit the slopes — virtually, at least — then Apple Arcade is ready to hit you with Grand Mountain Adventure+.
From Swedish developers ToppLuva AB — who definitely know the art of the ski — this game is relaxing, yet challenging, with superb controls. An open-world skiing and snowboarding session packed with everything from long-jump challenges to twisty downhills and so much more. Grand Mountain Adventure+ is coming to Apple Arcade with seven huge open-world mountains to explore and multiplayer with up to 16 players.
There are also a number of updates coming to some of Apple Arcade’s top games, including SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit and the aptly-named Cooking Mama: Cuisine! The full list of updates includes:
- Wylde Flowers — In this brand new farming system update, visit Marty to add adorable new animals to the player’s farm. Build a propagation shed to upgrade farm systems, guide animals through pregnancy, and more.
- Cooking Mama: Cuisine! — In celebration of Mother’s Day, Cooking Mama: Cuisine! will be holding a Mother’s Day event with new and limited-time ingredients.
- stitch. — Make sure to check out the new daily Shikaku puzzle, along with the new Mythical Creatures category.
- SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit — A continuation of the Noir Story, this week Patrick is in Plankton’s lab looking for clues that seem to be leading him back to Bikini Bottom.
- Crayola Create and Play+ — Crayola Create and Play+ is throwing a pizza party. Come try the brand new Cosmic Pizza activity, ring in Spring with a brand new quest, and celebrate mom with fun new Mother’s Day content.
- Squiggle Drop — Players can enjoy more Squiggly goodness, including 20 new levels, two new areas, five new achievements, two new buildings, and 20 new building features.
- Sonic Dash+ — Want to be a rock star? New character Rockstar Rouge is here to turn it up to eleven.
- Ballistic Baseball — Compete with other players in the brand-new Ballistic Bash challenge mode. This update also adds new rewards to Career mode and three new Rising Star Athletes.
- Jetpack Joyride+ — The Bling It On event returns, collect gold bars to unlock luxurious items, include the coveted Golden Tophat.
