One month out from the newest generation of Pokémon games, we’re seeing more of the new features coming when Pokémon Sword and Shield launches. Nintendo revealed a new trailer for Gigantamax and includes Eevee, Meowth, Pikachu and more.
Previously, we’ve seen several Pokémon in Gigantamax form and today introduces a few new ones that I’m growing fond of. Pikachu is, of course, getting its own form with a tail made of actual electricity, and grows chubbier when in this form. Eevee looks impressive, too and the fur on Eevee becomes far more luscious and fluffy, as well becoming more playful in this form. Meowth gains an elongated body and a new shiny coin on its head and is pretty damn cute. Next is Butterfree, which is basically Mothra, and gains wings that release a blinding light and generate tremendous winds. Lastly, is Charizard who is the most impressively designed with horns and wings made of fire.
