Torn Banner Studios, the Toronto-based developers of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare announced today that Mirage: Arcane Warfare will debut two new levels and new gameplay mechanics for attendees of this year’s PAX West to get hands-on time with at this year’s show. Visitors to the Torn Banner booth will be given the opportunity to play on one of 24 gaming PCs located in booth #2521, at the Washington State Convention Center, September 2 – 5.
Once again, Mirage: Arcane Warfare’s multiplayer is set to thrill PAX attendees with its uniquely magic-soaked combat action featuring individual hand-to-hand combat infused with powerful spells. Players will also be able to try out new spells and moves from a select group of classes that will be found in the final game, as well as experience two never-before seen maps:
● Bazaar – A colorful market district played in Team Objective Mode where players capture points in order to clear a path for their pushable magic vessel
● Sunken City – The ruins of a city destroyed by powerful magic, played as a Point Capture map
In Mirage: Arcane Warfare, the calm of a strange fantasy world is shattered by ruthless civil war. Warriors armed with steel and magic bring violence and death as they do battle across a fantastical Arabian and Persian-inspired setting of desert sands, market bazaars and grand palaces. Built using the powerful new capabilities of Unreal Engine 4, Mirage: Arcane Warfare presents a visually stunning backdrop to some viscerally brutal multiplayer combat.
Slated for release on PC through Steam in early 2017, Mirage: Arcane Warfare will feature a range of diverse player classes each with their own unique weapon and skill sets, exotic fantasy locales, multiple multiplayer game modes including objective-based challenges, brutal gore and a host of other innovative new features.
