New Achievements Features Rolling Out To Xbox Insiders Today

Xbox is inviting Xbox Insiders to feel a new sense of “Achievements” today.

The changes to Xbox’s skill-based awards system are outlined in a new Xbox Wire.

New visual updates to “Classic” or “Rare” Achievements add new icons, animations, and improved personalization through user-selected colour themes.

Being able to hide games and Achievements from those games is a frequently requested ability. Xbox suggests gamers want to do it for a cleaner, more organized look that features games and Achievements you’re most proud of, and we’ll go with that. Such a feature is set to launch later this month!

Xbox has long needed a system that puts completed Achievements lists front and centre, the way PlayStation does with “Platinumed” games, and that begins now with fully completed games now clearly marked, making it easier for Xbox Insiders, and eventually all Xbox players, to showcase their completion milestones.

Finally, you’ll be able to use new filtering options and improved navigation to quickly find completed or hidden titles and their Achievements.

Those already subscribed to the Xbox Insiders program can share thoughts and concerns with Xbox staff and community members, and it’s never too late for you to join the program for  Xbox Series X|S & Xbox One or Windows PC.
