Following the news that Netflix’s The Witcher series has been viewed 76 million times since launching on December 20, the streaming giant has a ton of content planned for the silver-haired mercenary.
The rumors are true, a new Witcher story is in the works! The anime film, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, will take us back to a new threat facing the Continent. Brought to you by the Witcher team @LHissrich and @BeauDeMayo, and Studio Mir the studio behind Legend of Korra.

It should serve as no surprise we’re getting another season, but it comes as a surprise that we’re also getting an anime based on The Witcher series and it’s in development at Studio Mir, who worked on The Legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender.
We have very few details but we do know that the series is called The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. What we do know is that the showrunner on The Witcher, Lauren Hissrich, knew about the anime for well over a year as she confirmed the news today as well.
It's a big day here in #TheWitcher world — and I've been keeping this one secret for over a year! https://t.co/9Rp1ftDO0p
