Neil Druckmann Promoted To Vice President At Naughty Dog

Over the weekend, Naughty Dog announced studio veteran Neil Druckmann was promoted to Vice President of Naughty Dog, according to a blog post on the studio’s blog.

Druckmann has been with the company since 2004, working on Jak 3 and Jak X: Combat Racing as a programmer, before moving onto working on the original Uncharted as a game designer. Despite the new title attached to his name, Druckmann will still be working on The Last of Us II, serving as the game’s Creative Director.

In addition to this, studio employees Anthony Newman and Kurt Margenau have been promoted to joint Game Directors on The Last of Us Part II. Both Kurt and Anthony joined Naughty Dog during Uncharted 2, serving as contributors on other subsequent games. Emilia Schatz and Richard Cambier are the Lead Designers for The Last of Us II.
