Fumi Games’ Mouse: P.I. For Hire has hit a slight delay and is now launching on April 16, 2026.
The original March 19 release date was approaching fast, and Fumi’s decision to delay was to ensure the final days of development could be devoted to polishing. “We remain unwavering in our goal to deliver you the best game we can, and that will take just an extra few weeks,” says a note from the developers.
Mouse: P.I. For Hire Stars Troy Baker as Jack Pepper, a former war hero turned private investigator now working out of Mouseberg. He’s got a knack for the underbelly of the city, and as he scratches the seedy ongoings of the city, his adventure spirals into a web of murder, corruption, and secrets.
Pepper has an arsenal at his disposal, including tons of comical weapons that can melt, blow up, items like Spike-D Spinach, who can enhance melee combat, a Helicopter, a grappling hook out of your mouse tail, and tons more.
Mouse: P. I. For Hire now launches on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC on April 16, 2026.
