Today WB and NetherRealm released a trailer for the latest installment in the Mortal Kombat franchise, Mortal Kombat X. Developers are pulling the silent treatment with the public, peaking curiosity just in time for MKX’s feature at next week’s E3. Although the trailer isn’t featured from game footage it does give hints of what MKX may include, like the return of the X-Ray attacks from 2011’s Mortal Kombat. Also the possibility of personalized weapons and an interactive environment. The trailers shows long time rivals Scorpio and Sub Zero facing off and ending with a gruesome fatality. WB says Mortal Kombat X is slated to release in 2015 on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
