According to a press release that has crossed our desks, Toronto is the epicentre of parking tickets, and one car faced a certain fatality as a result of Mortal Kombat 2 rolling through town.

I mean, look at the car seemingly illegally parked on Queen Street West! It appears to have been nearly ripped apart by Kung Lao and his legendary hat!
It appears that upholding Toronto’s parking enforcement laws is just a form of advertising for the Mortal Kombat II movie out May 8.
Kung Lao has partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures Canada to make an example of this lawbreaker, and even earn those who attend the car by catching some sick Easter eggs and scanning a QR code to net themselves a portion of $2,500 in gas cards.
You’ll be able to catch this car in the following locations:
- May 2 – 400 Front St W Parking Lot (12 pm – 7 pm)
- May 3 – 400 Front St W Parking Lot (12 pm – 5 pm)
- May 8 – 299 Queen St W Parking Lot (10 am – 3 pm)
- May 8 – Cineplex Queensway Parking Lot (5 pm – 10 pm)
- May 9 – Cineplex Queensway Parking Lot (12 pm – 10 pm)
- May 10 – Cineplex Queensway Parking Lot (12 pm – 5 pm)
