On an earnings call earlier today, David Zaslac, the current Warner Bros. Discovery president and CEO, revealed Mortal Kombat 12 is set to arrive later this year.

NetherRealm’s been mum on its next title but it seems like Zaslav nonchalantly revealed the studio is indeed working on Mortal Kombat 12. Ed Boon’s been teasing fans for months when asked about what his studio was working on for 2023 often hinting at another Injustice or Mortal Kombat
“There are lots more to come, including the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 12 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, games also set for release this year with ambitious launch projections.”
Regarding when we’d likely see a reveal, the most obvious place seems like E3. Given that Street Fighter 6 aims to launch on June 2, 2023, I don’t think we’ll see it until at least October.
For now, fans have Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League to look forward to when it launches on May 26.
