NetherRealm Studios confirmed that today would be the day we get out the first glimpse of the T-800 Terminator joining the roster in Mortal Kombat 11. As Judgement Day approaches, so does The Terminator.
Brendan George spoke about the inclusion and how the tie-in for Terminator: Dark Fate is a great addition for the studio. George goes on to say that the studio has a ton of love and respect for the character, so they used that inspiration when creating the character, leading to incredible energy around NetherRealm Studios.
The official video shows off The Terminator’s skill set as well as his Krushing Blow and his Fatality. They certainly pack quite the punch and I’m amazed at how well the studio integrated this into their game. Also, they found a way to include the endoskeleton of the T-800 model, which reflects how imposing the design looks.
The only thing I can’t get over is how off the voice acting is for The Terminator. Arnold handpicked who would deliver his lines but I need more time on my own to decide if it works or not.
The Terminator is available in Early Access on October 8.
