Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios promised a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 today, and it delivered!
In the trailer featuring Scorpion and Sub-Zero, we learned about the Lin Kuei and who they are within the rebooted Mortal Kombat universe. Today’s trailer confirms Smoke, a fellow member whose specialties are stealth and practical magic, is joining the roster. Boasting ties to both Scorpion and Sub-Zero, Smoke’s mission is to help the others to defend Earthrealm.
The Lin Kuei trailer also revealed Rain, the High Mage of Outworld, who uses water magic as a weapon and wishes to learn the darkest sorcery.
Additionally, Sektor, Cyrax, Frost, and Scorpion are all shown as Kameo Fighters, adding a range of support moves and abilities.
Mortal Kombat 1 launches for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC on September 19.
