A special Monster Hunter event was held in Japan today followed by a preview for Nintendo Direct, Monster Hunter X (Cross) and Poka Poka Airou DX, phew, which are two new titles in the Monster Hunter franchise.
The first, Monster Hunter X is built on the MH 4G engine and has an insane amount of flashy moves as well as being able to customize hunting styles for each weapon. Capcom has done well to incorporate older villages from the older games in MHX, namely the first three generations.
New areas will appear as well and contain a slew of new monsters and include flagship monsters.
From Software will be bringing Poka Poka Airou DX to the 3DS, essentially being an Animal Crossing style game in the Monster Hunter universe.
