Monster Hunter: World Ships 10 Million Copies

Capcom is in a bit of resurgence in the gaming world right now, and if you don’t think Monster Hunter: World was the biggest reason why this is happening, guess again because the immensely popular and successful title has shipped 10 million copies.

Releasing in January for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Monster Hunter: World went on to be the fastest-selling title for Capcom, ever. There was an unfortunate delay for PC, which would see the game move to a summer 2018 release on Steam.

As the months rolled on, players were patiently waiting for the game to drop on PC, and it helped that the game has been a solid port with tons of options for those who want to tinker with their rigs.

Since launching the franchise in 2004, the Monster Hunter series has sold a combined 50 million units.

Monster Hunter: World is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
