After seemingly being leaked last week, Monark is now not only official but also confirmed to be coming to the West in 2022!
NIS America will publish the new series from FuRyu and Lancarse and announced it will arrive in early 2022 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch and PC with an English dub.
Monark is set in a world where a deadly mist surrounds the Shin Mikado Academy. To save your friends and family, you’ll enter the Otherworld, a world filled with Daemons and a dimension beyond anything in ours. It is here, you’ll harness the Authority of Vanity and summon Fiends, who draw power from their master’s Ego.
Together, you’ll face the Pactbearers who are corrupting the academy. If this sounds like Persona, it basically is. Also, many of the original developers who worked on Persona have teamed up to make Monark, so there is that.
